We’re the Diaper Church

Clean and Covered, No Ifs, Ands or Butts

The Food Pantry has ways of procuring food items, cents on the dollar that any of us can provide.  Thanks to information received, one of the most pressing needs for the Baraboo Food Pantry is items that, largely, aren’t provided through government programs and the like: diapers…as well as wipes, and other infant, baby and toddler care (maybe Desitin?).  Missions & Social Concerns Board has taken this on, and figure it can’t hurt to be known as the “Diaper Church”.  Three months of the year, the Mission of the Month will emphasize these items so desperately needed.

And, if that’s not enough:  DIAPERS for DINNER

The Confirmation class of 2018-19, along with mentors and family, as part of a collective effort to help others in the community, is going to offer a spaghetti supper on Wednesday, April 24, 5-6:30 PM.  You will have a wonderful spaghetti supper with a superb sauce (rumor has it confirmand parent Tom Fitzwilliams has an exceptional recipe!), meatballs as an option, garlic bread and salad.  All for the suggested “price” of diapers, plus the usual needs that go along with it–wipes, Desitin, etc. —and maybe undies for any age/gender!  This is more an internal effort of the church. Sign-up list on the table in the Narthex.
